SpaceX Launches Falcon 9 Rocket From California Coast...

SpaceX successfully launched a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California early Tuesday morning, marking the company's 10th mission this year. The pre-dawn liftoff at 5:12 AM PDT sent 21 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit, visible across Southern California as a bright streak in the sky.

The launch is trending nationally as thousands of residents reported seeing the unusual spectacle. Social media platforms flooded with photos and videos of the rocket's glowing exhaust plume illuminated by sunrise. The Federal Aviation Administration had issued airspace closures for the event.

This mission deployed the latest batch of SpaceX's internet satellites, expanding the growing Starlink constellation. The company's first-stage booster successfully landed on a droneship in the Pacific Ocean, completing its 14th flight. SpaceX has now launched over 5,000 Starlink satellites since 2019.

Vandenberg Space Force Base, located 150 miles northwest of Los Angeles, has become increasingly active for commercial space operations. Tuesday's launch followed another Falcon 9 mission from Florida just 36 hours earlier, demonstrating SpaceX's rapid launch cadence.

Local authorities reported no immediate issues from the launch, though some residents expressed concerns about increasing space traffic. The next California launch is scheduled for April 15, when SpaceX will send up another batch of Starlink satellites.
