Ozzy Osbourne Sells Los Angeles Mansion For $18 Million...
Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne has sold his longtime Los Angeles home for $18 million, according to property records filed this week. The 9,500-square-foot Beverly Hills estate, which the Black Sabbath frontman owned since 2002, closed escrow on April 10 after being listed for $20 million last fall.
The sale comes as Osbourne continues downsizing his California properties while focusing on health treatments abroad. The 77-year-old musician publicly disclosed his Parkinson's diagnosis in 2020 and has undergone multiple spinal surgeries in recent years.
Built in 1931, the Mediterranean-style compound features six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a recording studio, and a pool house. Celebrity neighbor Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson previously owned the property before Osbourne purchased it for $11 million.
Real estate experts note the final sale price reflects current market softening in luxury Los Angeles homes. The property spent five months on the market before accepting the $2 million price reduction.
Fans have flooded social media with nostalgic posts about the home, where Osbourne filmed episodes of his reality show "The Osbournes." The sale marks another step in the rocker's gradual retreat from public life as he focuses on his health.
Osbourne still maintains a primary residence in England, where he's lived since 2020. His daughter Kelly Osbourne confirmed last month that the family has no plans to return to Los Angeles permanently.
The transaction ranks among the highest-profile celebrity real estate deals of 2026 so far. It follows similar high-end sales by Jennifer Lopez and Elon Musk earlier this year as wealthy homeowners capitalize on remaining demand in the luxury market.
